I’m once again excited to share an outstanding piece — The Stars Above by Stræpa and The Notorious CPU, my good friends whom I’ve written about before. From the very first seconds of the track, I’m enveloped by a kind of magic. It’s hard to put into words. The feeling unfolds gradually, like the night sky revealing its secrets when the last light of the city fades away.

I imagine myself far out in a field, holding an old telescope my grandfather gave me in childhood. I also have a thermos of coffee in my hands. Lightly distorted sounds, reminiscent of a kalimba, wrap around me. Meanwhile, they calm me and guide me into a state of inner quiet. Every chord, every nuance feels meticulously crafted. At the same time, the cold, almost metallic sound of The Notorious CPU balances perfectly with the warm depth of Stræpa’s saxophone. Together, they create a delicate yet precise dance of warmth and cold. This keeps the listener suspended between solitude and the universe.

There’s no need to share this moment on social media. In fact, this, like the music itself, belongs only to you. It’s about quiet joys that cannot be displayed: the smell of night air, the light chill on your cheeks, the sense of infinity overhead. Moreover, it’s something that stays in your memory, even when the world around you is noisy.

The Stars Above isn’t just something you listen to — it’s something you live. It makes you feel, remember, and breathe deeper. And when the track ends, a lingering sense remains that you’ll be gazing at the stars forever. No one can take this moment from you. It’s your own universe, your own rhythm, your own magic. That is why I cherish the music of Stræpa and The Notorious CPU. Indeed, it leaves a mark where words fail, and emotions turn into light.
