Day 1,504. Sector 7,
The Shelter. Luck was on my side tonight. No “Patsaks,” no shadows chasing me back. I managed to bring enough radioactive fuel to bring this place back to life.
Using whatever scraps I could find, I’ve built a makeshift power generator. It hums with a dangerous green glow, and I know it’s not exactly safe, but there’s no other way. To celebrate this small victory, I’m finally opening a tin of beef stew. A rare moment of peace.
Tomorrow, the real test begins. If the generator holds, I’m finally leaving Sector 7. I’m heading West — the opposite direction from the Great Radiation Desert. I need to find a place that is actually fit for living, somewhere beyond these ruins. I have to know if there’s anything better out there.
