Day 1,531. Sector 6, Quadrant 1. The Edge.
The rain finally stopped, and I’ve reached the very edge of the sector. I’m sitting here on a massive stone, looking at the horizon, and I can’t believe my eyes.
My grandfather used to tell me legends about a giant alien ship that arrived after the nuclear war and basically stopped life from ever recovering on this planet. I always thought it was just a story, and I definitely didn’t expect to find it here, in this quadrant. But there it is — standing tall, not wrecked, just rusted and covered in moss.
My supplies are almost gone, but if that thing is real, maybe I can find something useful inside. I just need to make sure my eyes aren’t playing tricks on me before I head closer.
