I rarely share tracks built with the help of AI, but today I’ve decided to take the risk. I was genuinely struck by the construction of the guitar parts and the overall production quality—two areas where AI-generated music often falters. Turkish composer and author Tamer Sağcan has shared his latest release, “Lumen Solis (Güneş),” a track where AI acts as a digital orchestrator while the soul remains human.

Sound Architecture

“Lumen Solis” (Sunlight) is centered around vibrant classical guitar chords that feel genuinely radiant, even on the gloomiest of days. With the addition of subtle beats, the track shifts from a traditional guitar solo into a breezy Lo-Fi territory.

The chords feel alive, carrying a life-giving energy through their rich, resonant tones. The various improvisational flourishes make every moment of the composition unique. According to Sağcan, while AI-assisted orchestration was used to expand the sonic landscape, the melodies and artistic vision remain entirely his own. The guitar work is the undeniable proof of this—it possesses a warmth and presence that pure AI has yet to replicate.

Why Listen?

This track is a fascinating experiment in “human-plus” creativity. Tamer Sağcan, who is also a lawyer and the creator of a massive 19-book sci-fi saga, uses sound to map what language cannot. “Lumen Solis” shows how instrumentalists can embrace new technology to enter different genres without losing their personal touch. It’s a bright, evolving journey that bridges the gap between cosmic soundscapes and melodic precision.

What are your thoughts on such experiments? Can AI truly serve as a silent partner to human inspiration?
