Hello, friends!

Today, I came across a composition by the Finnish artists vhskid. and Vihta titled "Blue Oblivion." From the very first notes, this track transports you into a world of emotions and makes you reflect on the most essential things. At first glance, the light dance of piano and guitar is filled with warmth and comfort. But as you listen closely, you begin to sense undertones of pain and sorrow, which make this composition truly special.

At first, it feels like a dance of a loving couple — love and friendship, warmth and comfort. However, gradually, as you listen further, a new layer of emotions emerges. Echoes of sorrow force you to pay attention to the details. This is why I decided to take a closer look at the track’s cover art.

The cover art highlights not only the lonely couple but also the heavy pillars that support this bridge of love. The pillar near the couple is depicted as dark and heavy, symbolizing grief or loss at this stage of life. Yet, the pillars further along the bridge become lighter and seemingly weightless, hinting at a brighter future illuminated by an unknown star. This powerful metaphor perfectly complements the mood of the composition.

The title "Blue Oblivion" adds further depth: blue symbolizes sadness, while "oblivion" refers to a state where everything dissolves, and nothing matters. The sounds of rain at the start of the track create an additional immersive effect, reminding us of moments of calm that border on melancholy.

What’s especially striking is how the piano seems to speak the language of sorrow, while the guitar chords convey words of support. This harmonious interplay allows listeners to find echoes of their own experiences in the music: moments of pain and moments of support that we’ve all lived through.

Since I prefer not to dwell on the technical aspects of a composition — as modern production standards are already incredibly high — I’ll simply let the SSA (Sound Score Algorithm) speak for itself.

Overall, this track is undeniably masterful. Emotionally, I would rate it a 10. It’s the kind of composition that can evoke bittersweet memories from your past while simultaneously healing and restoring them. It deserves to be heard, no matter your current mood — it will touch every listener’s heart.

Take care of yourselves!
