Sector 7, Quadrant 4. Going out tonight was a mistake. I needed fuel for the generator, and it’s always easier to spot the radioactive glow in the pitch black. But I wasn’t alone out there. I ran into a “Patsak” — a mutated orc. I thought their kind had finally gone extinct in the Great Radiation Desert, but I was wrong. It’s a good thing I found that spear at the meeting point, or I wouldn’t be writing this now. Safe for now back at the camp, but I’ve learned my lesson. In Quadrant 4, even the shadows have teeth. I need to be more careful.
