Listening to Find a Way, I feel the sound slowly pulling me out of reality, as if air turns into water, and water into light. At first, it seems a little chaotic — boom bap, jazz, classical, even techno and chillhop intertwine like fragments accidentally found, yet together forming something harmonious. But it’s no accident. Matt Wilde carefully crafts his sound, and you can feel it in every note. At first, a slightly rough synthesizer plays, softening strangely into gentle piano transitions, as if the artist is pretending to be an amateur, only to pull me deeper into his world.
Then, around the fortieth second, a small miracle occurs. The rough sounds gradually dissolve, replaced by jazz delight — honest, open, with a trumpet that seems to speak directly to me, and a piano that communicates more with words than with notes. You feel the rollercoaster from sound to sound, from the primitive opening line to the peak of musical mastery. This track becomes a tiny journey of a hero, step by step gaining confidence, finding their place, learning to understand themselves through sound.
Every transition, every nuance is a small step on a path that grows warmer, more experienced. The composition resonates within you like your own life, with all its falls and rises, moments of doubt, and flashes of clear joy quietly etched as scars on your heart.
